Dona Amélia Tinto Reserva is a Douro red wine that expresses the richness and complexity of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grape varieties. It features a deep, intense ruby colour with a sophisticated bouquet of ripe black fruits such as plum and blackberry, combined with hints of spices, vanilla, and violets.
On the palate, it is structured and engaging, with firm yet velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a persistent finish, unveiling layers of flavour throughout the tasting. Careful ageing in oak barrels enhances its complexity and elegance while preserving the freshness characteristic of Douro wines.
With 14.5% alcohol, this wine has excellent ageing potential and can be enjoyed now or stored for several years to develop further refinement.
Pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted red meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses. For optimal tasting, serve between 16ºC and 18ºC in a large glass and, if possible, decant. Store bottles horizontally, away from light, in a clean, ventilated environment with stable temperature and humidity.
