The Monte da Ria Branco Reserva is a white wine from the Algarve, with 12.5% alcohol, made from a blend of 60% Encruzado and 40% Arinto. The Encruzado undergoes partial barrel fermentation, while the Arinto ferments in stainless steel, creating a perfect balance between freshness and structure. On the nose, it reveals fruity and citrus notes, complemented by subtle toasty and sweet nuances from the partial barrel ageing. Over time, it can develop more pronounced toasty aromas and delicate hints of tea.On the palate, it is fresh and well-structured, with vibrant acidity, good volume, and a slightly salty mineral finish, characteristic of the region’s terroir. This wine is both versatile and gastronomic, enjoyable young but also capable of ageing in the bottle, gaining complexity over time. It pairs beautifully with seafood, fish dishes, light meats, and medium-aged cheeses. Serve between 10ºC and 12ºC. Bottles should be stored horizontally in a dark, clean, well-ventilated place with stable temperature and humidity.
