The Quinta dos Termos Red Touriga Nacional Reserva is a D.O.C. Beira Interior wine that showcases the richness of the Touriga Nacional grape, one of Portugal’s most renowned varieties. Grown in granitic soils in the Cova da Beira sub-region, this wine expresses the aromatic opulence typical of the grape, with notes of bergamot, rosemary, and pine needles.The grapes are hand-harvested into 15 kg boxes. After full destemming and gentle crushing, the wine undergoes extended maceration and is aged in new and used French oak barrels. Natural clarification is assisted by the cold from the Serra da Estrela mountains.The wine displays a deep red colour with blueish hues, ensuring its longevity. The nose reveals elegant floral aromas of bergamot and rosemary, alongside the freshness of pine needles. On the palate, floral notes are complemented by intense red fruit flavours, balanced structure, and a persistent finish.It is recommended to serve at a temperature between 16-18°C. This wine pairs wonderfully with roasted meats, grilled dishes, oven-roasted sausages, and pasta with tomato sauce.
