The Sandeman Porto Vintage is a premium Port, made from the finest grapes of the oldest vineyards in the Douro region. Each vintage is a unique expression, reflecting the climatic conditions and terroir of the harvest. After vinification, the wine ages in oak barrels but is bottled unfiltered to preserve its purity and character.
This Port has a deep and complex nose, with intense aromas of ripe black fruits such as plums and cassis, complemented by hints of spices, chocolate, and coffee, which come from its barrel aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with firm tannins and a balanced acidity that provides structure and elegance. The finish is long, persistent, and reveals a complexity of flavours that develop over time.
With 20% alcohol, the Sandeman Porto Vintage is a wine with great aging potential, which can be cellared for many years. It is ideal to be enjoyed after some years of aging or for those who prefer its intensity and complexity in youth. It pairs beautifully with aged cheeses, chocolate-based desserts, and sophisticated dishes. Serve at 16ºC to 18ºC, in a large glass, and, if possible, decant before serving. Store bottles horizontally in a cool, dry place, away from light.
